The Speritanians have the largest and most prosperous nation in all of Ul-Zaorith. They descended from swamp bears and still possess the rugged strength, dense musculature, and red-hued skin of their ancestors. Speritanians are deeply religious, being one of the only races in Ul-Zaorith to believe their Pantheon is the “right” way to worship. This, combined with the wet and challenging landscape of Speritan, has lead to a very colonialist history . . . the ripples of which can still be felt today.
Speritanians have black eyes, indigo hair, bright red skin, and flammable blood. Overall their features are broad and stocky, with wide shoulders and proportionately shorter legs. Despite their bulk, they are surprisingly agile as shown by their long tradition of martial prowess. The men and woman are both quite hairy, with beards being a symbol of virility in men and unibrows a sign of fertility in women. The men range from 5’8”–6’6” and the women from 5’4”–6’ and live to roughly 60–80 years of age. Eunuchs are common in Speritan, especially within the lower castes. Because of their castration before puberty, eunuch physiognomy tends to be shallower-chested and lither-limbed than their regular male counterparts. They also possess higher voices and cannot father children. Eunuchs are often trusted aides, indentured servants, or objects of desire—and sometimes are considered a third gender.
Men will often take multiple wives (being able to afford to do so is a sign of status). They highly prize family legacy, reputation, and social connections. Speritan has very strict gender roles with certain professions and pastimes considered innately masculine or feminine. Unfortunately, Speritanians still perpetuate a lot of toxic masculinity. As such, there are very few safe spaces for LGBT folk in Speritan. Because this community is deeply important to me, many of the Speritanians I work with are part of (or allies [such as non-toxic men] to) the LGBT community and are seeking found family or acceptance from Earthen companions.
Speritanians are brutishly strong and also very resistant to damage or illness. They can offer a shoulder to support you through hard times, seemingly limitless energy to bolster you when you're fatigued, and fierce protection against all enemies.
Once Astra has conjured some Speritanian candidates that are close to your specifications, she will notify you of their name and some general information about them. You will be presented with your three options and can pick the one you resonate with most! If you decide you want to take home the other candidates, you will be charged 100$USD per extra individual. Vetting typically takes 1-3 months, but can take longer depending on the nature of your custom. This custom conjure comes with Astra's Extended Dossier Service, which will be provided to you in the same PDF as your companion document.
The pricing of this listing covers the time and energy spent to maintain the relationship with the Speritanian, to find a match for you, and to properly vet and write up a document detailing your new companion.
