The Muzina hail from the fiery mountains of Muzin. They evolved from a species of mountain jackal and still retain the double fangs, agility, and strength of their ancestors. Aside from the hair on their heads, brows, and lashes, their skin is hairless, which suits these lovers of heat and fire well.
There are two main ethnicities: the T’Clan from the peaks of the volcanoes and the Rn’Clan of the highlands. The T’ have paler caramel skin, gradient fiery hair, and paler blue or gold eyes, and tend to be taller and more slender. The Rn’ have darker butterscotch skin, deep berry-coloured hair, and dark blue or bronze eyes. They also tend to be shorter and stockier. Their height ranges from 5'5"–5'10" and they live to be roughly 130. Besides these ethnicities, Muzina are all born under one of three Auspices (Ishala, Meshura, or Shama). The Ishala are known for their beauty, tend to be graceful, charming, and get along well with others. The Meshura are known for their wits, long memories, and good advice. The Shama are known for their brute strength, stamina, and their fearlessness.
Respect is paramount in Muzin, but it must be earned. If you say that you will do something, a Muzina will hold you to it. The Muzina oral tradition means many of them are illiterate, relying instead on their excellent memories and barter system. They recognize two genders: both equally important. Their men are expected to be protectors, hard labourers and fighters, while their women are expected to govern, keep the peace, and preserve traditions. Both are expected to participate in child rearing. One’s place in Muzina society is determined on their Test of Pain. For men, it happens when they hit puberty; for women, it affects their first pregnancy (should they choose to bear children). Muzina are excellent at establishing boundaries and will ensure that yours are firm and respected. They believe in hard work and may push you to get things done. They are adventurous and eager for new opportunities and so can embolden those of meeker temperaments. They tend towards being social and would do well in large spirit families. They are generally optimistic in temperament and can act as moral boosters.
Once Astra has conjured some Muzina candidates that are close to your specifications, she will notify you of their name and some general information about them. You will be presented with your three options and can pick the one you resonate with most! If you decide you want to take home the other candidates, you will be charged 100$USD per extra individual. Vetting typically takes 1-3 months, but can take longer depending on the nature of your custom. This custom conjure comes with Astra's Extended Dossier Service, which will be provided to you in the same PDF as your companion document.
The pricing of this listing covers the time and energy spent to maintain the relationship with the Muzina, to find a match for you, and to properly vet and write up a document detailing your new companion.
