The icy mountains of Briandyna in the west are home to the Briandynians. The longest lived race in Ul-Zaorith, Briandynians live on average 1000 years and are the descendants of Tirivahni, proto-Fudorian, and Suoro mingling. When Briandynians reach old age, instead of their bodies decaying they crystalize: first growing rigid, then losing mobility, before finally overtaking flesh, hair, and bone. During this process, the Briandynian's soul fuses into this crystal matrix which enables them to commune long after they lose animation.
Briandynians have porcelain white skin, with either white or butter-yellow hair, and have doll-like proportions. Their large eyes are either blue, green, or purple, with heterochromia being quite common. They can be as tall 4’8”–5’2”. They are an androgynous race, and some bare children and some do not. Their language does not have pronouns, but for ease of communication they use pronouns on Earth. Briandynian ears are tapered and curved against their heads, and their teeth are a row of sharp fangs that help them eat the frozen foods of their homeland. (edited)
Not only do Briandynians live a long time but they develop very slowly. As such, they are willing to dedicate years to mastering tasks, languages, and various studies. They are rarely to be rushed, given to deep contemplation, and can be hedonistic. But don’t let their stately appearances fool you: when needed they can move faster than any other race. While Briandynians are content to explore physical pleasures, they are slow to develop emotional attachments. When they bond a romantic soulmate, they do so for life. To spare Briandynians centuries of heartache, only those Briandynians with an established soulmate connection, or those wholly disinterested in soulmates, will be considered for companionship.
Unlike humans with a diurnal sleep cycle, Briandynians can stay awake for 4–5 days at a time, enabling them to keep an eye on things while you’re resting or at work. However, they need to sleep for an equal length of time as they spent awake. They’re excellent casters and have the patience to work with challenging familiars, or fledging thoughtforms. Their centuries of experience and knowledge can be of great use to a companion and their spirit family.
Once Astra has conjured some Briandynian candidates that are close to your specifications, she will notify you of their name and some general information about them. You will be presented with your three options and can pick the one you resonate with most! If you decide you want to take home the other candidates, you will be charged 100$USD per extra individual. Vetting typically takes 1-3 months, but can take longer depending on the nature of your custom. This custom conjure comes with Astra's Extended Dossier Service, which will be provided to you in the same PDF as your companion document.
The pricing of this listing covers the time and energy spent to maintain the relationship with the Briandynian, to find a match for you, and to properly vet and write up a document detailing your new companion.
