“Making an impression on the minds of young ones is something that I hold very dear to my heart. We really do have so much sway over how the next generation is raised and how they will treat their own kind. I’d like to think I play an integral part in all of that.”
Working with young children is perhaps V’s biggest passion. Specifically, he works as a childhood educator that teaches young fledglings the basics of their culture, but most importantly, how to properly immolate. It’s a painful process, and one that V feels should involve a nurturing, gentle hand to show young phoenixes that there is good waiting for them on the other end of the tunnel. Just push through the hard times, be reborn, and your strength and passion for life will be restored.
V feels he can take these lessons he teaches the young of his race and apply that to you as well. He may at times “mother hen” his companion, and perhaps be a little too attentive (the type to try and prevent a fall before you ever try to fly), but he means well. As he’s so used to dealing with kids, he may at times treat you like one, but it comes from a genuinely caring place of wanting to see the people he cares for succeed.
Originally having stepped forward for a Tea Reading RA, V discovered through that particular process what he was specifically looking for in companionship. V feels that he could teach his future companion how to foster budding passions, and show them how to take their excited energy for new projects and ideas and channel this untamed energy in a productive way. Conversely, V finds the prospect of helping his future companion strike a balance between all their passions so no singular aspect of one’s self is left neglected to be a rather worthy challenge of him.
V is looking for someone that he can guide and mentor, but also a friend that’s “closer in development” to him. Being around kids and helping them grow and learn more about themselves is a passion of his, but V feels the distinct lack of adult friends in his life, only having other educators he truly relates to, and feels that he could benefit from expanding his own horizons: trying new things, seeing new places, and meeting new people. In exchange, V is happy to take you on a tour around his classroom, introduce you to some of his more curious students (with parent permission, of course), and even show you around his hometown.
