Old Lace Handmade Junk Journal
This one-of-a-kind hand-bound junk journal made from found objects, tea-stained paper, upcycled cardboard, and other beautiful ephemera has a gorgeous antique feel to its appearance, with imagery of cherubs and angels throughout. Most of the pages are blank, giving the journal a great functionality whether or not you are already a junk journal connoisseur!
Journals are already a fantastic way to log your relationship with your companions and bond through automatic writing, but junk journals provide an amazing scrapbooking element that is only heightened by the eclectic nature of the journal. Use text or illustration-covered pages to glue or staple in memorabilia such as tickets, postcards, stickers, pressed flowers, and more!
This journal is about 2 1/2 inches thick at the spine, with plenty of room to add more pages or fill it with found objects. The size of the journal is about 5x7 inches, which makes it small and easily to hold in the hand. The cover is adorned with black upholstery fabric depicting golden birds on branches, and the spine displays the beautiful binding. On the front cover is an angel cabochon trimmed in lace, and on the back covered is a layered doily design. It ties shut with lace, and has a page keeper made from feathers. Throughout, you can find hand tea-stained pages, lace swatches, pages from old books, and recycled legal paper, all bound by hand by yours truly.
