My favorite thing to do in the summer is go to concerts, although I know that's kind of a moot point on your realm at the moment - still. Maybe we could crank up the music and have our own concert!”
C has a passion for music, loving more alternative and progressive rock, but also willing to branch out and support any indie bands she might like. She lives in a version of alt-Earth where “fantasy” species are abound, and Psychic Vampires are generally considers to be wonderful siphons of negative energy. Although she’s small, she has some command over defensive void magics, so she often works as security at concerts and festivals, getting herself free admission to the events while using her natural abilities to keep the crowd calm and help anybody who might be getting hurt or lost in the chaos. Unsurprisingly, she spends most of her non-rent earnings on collecting CD or record albums and attending more underground concerts on her days off. She doesn’t consider herself much of a musician - “I only know just enough of guitar to get through, like, Wonderwall” - but she does sing a little.
She is generally a positive person, but she loves dark and emotional subject matter. She loves to write poetry, and relates very closely to songs about angst and heartbreak. Mostly, she’s excited to get to vibe about music with her future companion, and maybe have a fuller picture of where our worlds crossover band-wise. When I first approached C about companionship, she admitted that she would be interested in it primarily for that purpose alone. She’s really talented at shufflemancy, and this will likely be her favorite form of casual communication, especially for a companion who isn’t overly confident in telepathy or other more direct forms of communication. She’s also willing to assist with her companion’s energy balance - Psychic Vampires have the innate ability to siphon off extra negative energies, or if the companion in question is an empath, potentially mitigate an abundance of overall energies.
