Norse Ketta are a race or fierce cat spirits. The word "Ketta" literally means shecat, but in Norse mythology it was attributed to mythological female cat shifters. Their most notable feature was that of their long, sharp cat's claws, regardless of if they were in a more catlike or humanlike form. Ketta are capable of partial shifts, and they may surprise you with the forms in between cat and woman that they take.
Ketta, in their cat forms, are usually as small as housecats, but they pack a fierce amount of power. They are extremely magical and powerful, and tend to have dominant personalities. A Ketta is likely to be one of your most active companions. They function wonderfully as protectors and organizers of your spirit family, and their magical energies align most closely to those of divination, astrology, and warding. But as companions to their humans they are matronly, ferociously protective and loving, and empowering supporters who are likely to make you feel powerful from within. Kettaare astral beings rather than living entities, so it is likely that they will spend a great deal of their time with you.
All Ketta are feminine in gender, so there is no gender preference option for this custom binding.
