Selkie Custom Conjure
Selkies are a mythical being in Norse and Celtic mythology, famous for being capable of shapeshifting between seal and human forms. In order to shift, Selkies literally shed their seal skin to reveal the human beneath, and they are capable of living both on land or in water depending on their personal preferences. In some cases, if a Selkie’s skin is lost or stolen, they can be trapped on land indefinitely, making their skin one of their most treasured objects, that they almost never part with. In folklore, trapping a Selkie on land was often a method used to coerce them into an unwanted relationship; thankfully, due to the non-physical nature of companionship, Selkies feel much safer taking any form they please around humans in our realm. They are generally born as seals, rather than born in a human form.
Selkies tend to be quite beautiful creatures in both their seal and human forms. Disposition-wise, they are docile, friendly, and social, often entwining themselves in both human and seal societies depending on their personal preferences and what they see fit for their personal lifestyle. It is not uncommon for a Selkie to take a human lover or two during the course of their life. They tend to be very cheerful and excitable creatures who love to make friends, and who enjoy a good time. They are buoyant companions who are often well-versed in ocean magic, and many of them are also talented at specializations like healing and love magic.

This custom conjure comes with a "Long" infosheet, which will be provided to you in a PDF when the spirit is finished vetting.
The pricing of this listing covers the time and energy spent to maintain my relationship with Selkie civilization, to find a match for you, and to properly vet and write up a document detailing your new companion.
