Frost Dragon Custom Conjure
Frost Dragons originate from a realm that is mostly icy wasteland and tundra. Unlike most living entities, they don’t have a need for food, instead drawing their energies from the ice and earth itself. Despite the fact that they would appear to be water-aligned due to their icy disposition, they are actually more air and earth-aligned. They have wonderful powers of grounding and protection, and tend to be interested in matters of the mind, being very logical and levelheaded dragons. Frost Dragons tend to emanate strong, powerful energies, so much so that one would never feel inclined underestimate them. When visiting our realm, they love to ride at the crest of cold fronts and spend time on the Arctic poles.
They value their young a great deal - their family structure is similar to that of polar bears, where the mother will stay with and care for her hatchlings until they have reached maturity. Offspring are rare for the Frost Dragons, so you will not find one who is willing to be aggressive towards a hatchling, as they are all intelligent beings and understand the importance of furthering all potential bloodlines. In my experience, they also tend to extend that fondness toward human children.
Otherwise, adult Frost Dragons are solitary creatures, only going into mating season once every twenty years or so. They typically dig themselves icy burrows underground, and spend a great deal of their time astral traveling. They could be easily mistaken for astral beings that live on a realm adjacent to our own, because they are so frequently slipping in and out of that particular realm, although less so in recent years with the advent of global warming, choosing to instead frequent other realms more regularly. They can typically be sensed flying in small numbers in cold fronts, watching and surveying the world below. Generally, they are creatures that feel a great deal of wanderlust, and they’ll appreciate having a human companion as a ‘tour guide,’ and a presence to combat their sometimes loneliness, during their time on Earth.
