Hippocampus Custom Conjure
In Earth mythology, Hippocamps seem to originate from cultures along the Mediterranean sea. The original “sea horse,” these lovely beings are half horse, half fish. Mythologically, they were the steeds that drove Poseidon’s chariot, as two-hooved horses that rode over the sea. Hippocamps are sweet, gentle and empathetic creatures - a welcome distinction from some of their darker-spirited relatives. As companions, they are somewhat rare, coming about only every so often, and they are also solitary creatures, meaning that it is not possible to come upon a pod of them. The presence of a Hippocampus is a welcome blessing.
They tend to be colorful and bright in both appearance and personality, as well as extremely creative, making them perfect companions for artists or those who need an extra little boost in morale. They have somewhat of a wild side, and are often full of excited energy, and therefore they usually might prefer a companion who can truly dedicate a good amount of time to them at least a few days a week. Additionally, they may wish to be an astral steed of yours, if you develop a bond with mutual respect and tend to astral travel to underwater realms. They are not overly needy, and are usually lovely companions to simply chat or snuggle with at the end of a long day.
